Organized Mom

Our story · Meet Mark & Megan

We didn’t start with an organized home.

We started with a home that needed something to change.

It started at home.

We’re Mark and Megan, the husband-and-wife team behind Organized Mom Collective.

Like a lot of families, we were frustrated by the way things were working. There was always something to remember, plan or get done. And too much of it was falling on Megan.

We knew we didn’t want to keep living that way. We wanted everyone to know what was happening and take responsibility for their part, instead of expecting one person to hold everything together.

So we started making tools for our own family.

What we began to build

One plan everyone can see. A part everyone can own.

Mark thinks in systems: how to bring scattered information together and make it simple. Megan knows what family life actually asks of a mom, and helped shape those ideas into something that could work on an ordinary Tuesday.

We started with the things our family needed to see in one place. Then we worked on making responsibilities clear enough that everyone could take part.

We began to see a different way of running our home. Not just getting through another week, but helping our kids learn new skills, build habits and take ownership as they grow.

We’re still learning, too.

Our house isn’t perfectly organized. We haven’t mastered family routines, and we don’t expect you to either.

But we’re growing toward something better: a home where we’re on the same page, where our kids grow in responsibility, and where one person doesn’t have to carry the whole mental load.

That’s why we share what we’re making. Not because we have it all figured out, but because we believe a family can learn to work together.

A better organized home isn’t one where Mom does everything. It’s one where everyone plays a part.

Organized moms raise organized families. And organized families share the load.
